OurFoundation

Welcome to the Colors of Roses Foundation Inc. A Radiance of Friendship, Honor, Love and Joy. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the physical and emotional needs of orphaned and underprivileged children. We raise awareness on orphan crisis and advocate at the government and civil society levels for the right of every child. Colors of Roses Foundation currently works in the following countries: Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa, Mozambique & The United States.

Our Core Services

Our core services comprises of the following five broad continuum of care programs that provide complex needs to each child.

Food and Nutrition

We ensure that each child has sufficient food to eat and sustain an active and healthy life.

Shelter and Care

We strive to provide an adequate place that is dry and safe for the children to live, sleep and feel at home.

Health Care

We aim to improve access to health by establishing partnerships between orphanages and hospitals for providing primary healthcare services.

Psychosocial Support

We work towards meeting the emotional, social and human attachments needs required for normal childhood development.

Education

We work towards eliminating barriers and reduce the disparities faced by orphaned and underprivileged children.

How we are able to accomplish these task

Providing assistance to early childhood development programs. Facts from UNICEF—The early years of life are crucial not only for individual health and for physical development, but also for cognitive and social-emotional development. Events in the first few years of life are formative and play a vital role in building human capital, breaking the cycle of poverty, promoting economic production, eliminating social disparities and inequities.
Ensuring children complete their primary school education.
Provide assistance for higher education for older children who have completed post-primary education.
Strengthening partnerships between schools and communities for the establishment of vocational training opportunities.
